final last project.
Woops, I haven’t been keeping up with this blog to well.
My new project is all about the celebration of knit as a craft. The communities and generations of knitters that are associated with knitting is what I love, and the passing on of skills; this will be the main focal point. My grandma has been highly influential in getting me started in knit, with generations of ladies in my family picking up their needles. Knitting that is handmade has a great way of adopting stories and memories and this is what I intend to investigate.
If anyone has a story behind how they learnt to knit, or a knitted item that holds memories for them it would be great to hear your stories.......
